Leadership
Eric J. Holcomb is the current governor of Indiana, having been elected to the position in 2016 and reelected in 2020, as mentioned in sources [1] and [4]. He has served in this office since 2017, as he took office on January 9, 2017, after the previous governor, Mike Pence, was sworn in as Vice President of the United States. Joe Hogsett is the 49th mayor of Indianapolis, the state’s capital [1][2][4][7]. He has been serving as mayor of Indianapolis since 2015, when he was elected on November 3 of that year [2][4][5][7].
